Jessica is a multifaceted performer from Prince Edward Island. In 2015 and 2016, she was the second Islander in the 51 year history of Anne of Green Gables the Musical to play the title role, Anne Shirley at the Charlottetown Festival. She has been seen on stage and screen across Canada, and most recently performed in a new musical adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland” by Bad Hats Theatre Company at Soulpepper Theatre in Toronto. In 2019, she portrayed the role of Aphrodite in the North American premiere of Mythic at the Segal Centre for which she won BroadwayWorld Montreal’s Vocalist and Performer of the Decade. In the summer of 2021, she wrote and starred in “Jessica Gallant is Dolly Parton” at the Courthouse Theatre in PEI which sold out for two summers in a row.

Jessica spent six seasons performing at the Charlottetown Festival. Credits include two
years of The Young Company, the World Premiere of Evangeline, Mamma Mia!, Alice Through the Looking Glass and Canada ROCKS!. Other credits include Marty/Sandy Understudy in Grease at the Winter Garden Theatre, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Ariel in the Little Mermaid(Drayton Entertainment), Savannah in Freaky Friday (Theatre Aquarius). TV/Film credits: Diggstown (CBC), In My Heart (CBC Gem), The Community Players (Bell Fibe TV).
