Help shape another magical season on PEI’s most beautiful stage.
Under the Spire wouldn’t happen without our volunteers. From the warm welcome at the door to the hands keeping the pavilion running between sets, our team is what turns a concert series into a community gathering. We’re recruiting now for the upcoming season, and returning volunteers and brand-new faces equally welcome.
What volunteers do
There’s a role for nearly every interest and comfort level:
- Front of house — Greeting patrons and assisting with seating
- Box office — Supporting ticket sales, including daytime shifts
- Pavilion concessions — Preparing and serving beverages (we’ll help you obtain your Smart Serve Certificate if you don’t already have one)
- Raffle and 50/50 — Selling tickets during concerts
- Parking coordination — Helping guests arrive and depart smoothly
- History tours and Sunday events — Assisting with or leading tours and supporting our Sunday afternoon community programming
We’ll work with you to find roles that suit your strengths and interests, and we’re happy to mix things up across the season.
What you can expect from us
This year we’re delighted to welcome Kandy Simpson as our Volunteer Coordinator. Kandy will be your point of contact throughout the season and will be there to support you in your role.
We host a Volunteer Orientation Session in early June so you arrive at your first shift feeling prepared and supported.
As a thank-you for your time:
- Concert tickets based on hours contributed
- Volunteer Appreciation Event at the end of the summer to celebrate together
