When Island architect William Critchlow Harris designed St. Mary’s Church to resemble the inside of a violin back in 1902, he had one goal in mind: for music to be heard in its purest, richest form. 120 years later, we’re still upholding that vision with Under the Spire: an annual summer-long concert series that brings world-class performances in classical, traditional, folk, jazz and world music to Historic St. Mary’s in Prince Edward Island.
