This is a most unusual year. As we all hunker down in our homes, unable to gather with our family and friends this year, music reminds me of the magic of Christmases past. The familiar songs evoke the warmth of the fire, the smells of cinnamon and ginger, and the laughter of children. The smiles and hugs from those who are no longer or cannot be with us in physical form drift in my thoughts again. My favorite Christmas carol is Silent Night played by a single guitar…. I always listen to that song on Christmas Eve, as I sit alone, the last one to go to bed, the gifts all placed under the glowing Christmas tree. Merry Christmas! Happy holidays! Peace be with you!
