This past year will long be remembered as one of uncertainty and loss. But I am so proud of how the Festival has faced all the challenges, learnt to pivot (sometimes on a daily basis!) with the changes in restrictions and now stands poised to enter its next 25 years stronger than ever. Our thanks go out to Kate Gracey-Stewart, who brought energy and creativity to her position as Executive Director and played a key role in steering us through the pandemic and shoring up our internal systems. Kate’s time with the Festival is coming to an end and we have started the process of searching for her replacement. I am pleased to say that she will continue to work with our Programming Committee on a contract basis to prepare our summer season. Yes! Summer is coming and we will have concerts!
