On March 23rd, we were honoured to be presented with the ‘Architectural Conservation Project of the Year’ award from the PEI Museums and Heritage Foundation.

Under the Spire received this award as a result of the extensive renovation and restoration project we undertook in 2024. Spanning over multiple months, our entire building was stripped and painted, the roof got new shingles, the building was weatherized and had custom wooden ornamentals replaced, and we also had an accessibility ramp installed at our main doors.
Our organization exists at a unique intersection of the island’s heritage, arts and culture – and just as it’s our duty to continue providing high-quality music for our community, it’s also our responsibility to care for our beautiful venue.
Thank you to the staff and board at the PEI Museums and Heritage Foundation, and congratulations to all of the other deserving award receipients!
