The singer-songwriter’s reputation precedes him— with thirteen albums and numerous awards and nominations from the JUNOs and East Coast Music Awards to his credit, he has truly cemented his spot as one of Canada’s foremost folk country artists. Lennie has graced Historic St. Mary’s stage many times in the past, always to a packed audience. While this concert will be significantly less crowded, we know that Lennie Gallant will be more than capable of fostering a sense of togetherness, even if we all must remain physically apart. Doors open at 6:30pm and showtime is 7:30pm.
Jacques Arsenault, Tracy Cantin, Kinley Dowling, Magdalena von Eccher

Sunday’s concert will feature a medley of extraordinary Island talent, including PEI-born tenor and accordionist Jacques Arsenault has performed throughout Canada in a wide range of repertoire from classical and contemporary opera to musical theatre. Summerside native Tracy Cantin is well-known throughout the world for her powerful and dazzling soprano voice, as well as her captivating stage presence. Kinley Dowling is an award-winning singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Charlottetown, who is also known for being part of Newfoundland & Labrador’s indie ensemble Hey Rosetta! for 10 years. Joining the three PEI natives is multiple-award-winning pianist Magdalena von Eccher, who is well known around the globe for her poetic musical interpretations, and was recently appointed Assistant Professor at UPEI’s Department of Music. The concert will feature a variety of musical styles, including Classical, Folk, French Cabaret, and Jazz. Doors open at 2pm and showtime is 3pm.
To maintain strict adherence to COVID-19 restrictions in order to keep our patrons safe, we will be following new procedures and protocols in accordance to Public Health guidelines. All ticket holders will be contacted the week of September 21, 2020 with specific instructions so you know what to expect upon arrival.
Reminder: seating is general and is on a first come first serve basis. The first 40 patrons to arrive will be seated in section A and the remaining group will be seated in section B. You may be asked to wait in line as sections are filled. Patrons with disabilities are asked to contact music@indianriverfestival.com in advance so we can expedite your arrival and departure.
Non-medical face masks are highly recommended; especially entering and exiting the building and when moving about inside. We will not be running a bar or offering refreshments and shows are 60-75 minutes in length with no intermission.
