Under the Spire is currently seeking members from PEI’s music community to join our 2026 Programming Committee.
In working alongside UTS staff and members from our board of directors, you will have a direct impact on next year’s season programming at Under the Spire. Do you see something that our programming can expand upon? We want to work with community members to expand on our programming and vision for what our concert series looks like.
There will be 2-3 successful applicants selected. Anyone is welcome to apply, however we strongly encourage applicants who meet any of the following criteria:
- Anyone in PEI’s music community who identifies as belonging to a marginalized group or underrepresented community (BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, those living with disabilities, etc)
- Young members of PEI’s music community (18-25 years old)
- Industry professionals on PEI (musicians, technicians, booking agents, etc)
The successful applicant will:
- Bring their unique lived experiences and perspectives to the table
- Have a strong working knowledge of the music industry on PEI and across the maritimes
- Have strong conversational and collaboration skills
- Be able to meet 1-2 times per month at mutually agreed upon times (hybrid options available) from mid-September to mid-January
